Prostatitis also can be a cause of infertility

It is known to all that the low quality of sperm is the major cause of infertility, but is there anybody know that the prostatitis also can bring infertility to man?

1. Prostatic fluid a discharge from prostate gland takes an important role on liquefaction of semen

fibrinolysis, an important material in prostatic fluid, is the key of liquefaction. If one has infection on prostate gland, there is no doubt that prostatic fluid is infected too, thus, the infected fibrinolysis cannot make the semen liquefy in time.

2. Inflammatory or toxic materials will consume more oxygen and nutrient

Infection or inflammation not only can bring toxic materials to prostate gland, the toxic materials produced by infection or inflammation also can consume the oxygen and nutrient in semen. Thus, sperm will lack of activity or die because of lacking of oxygen and nutrient.

3. Other reproductive diseases also can be caused by prostatitis

If the prostatitis cannot be cured timely, the inflammation in prostate gland can spread into its nearby organs like testicles, epididymitis, seminal vesicle and so on. and we also know that the organs like testicles, epididymitis and seminal vesicle have close connection with reproduction, so there is no doubt why prostatitis can bring infertility to man.

4. PH level, another important factor, also can be affected by prostatitis

Generally speaking, the healthy PH level of semen should be more than 7.2 and less than 7.8. If one affects the prostatitis, the PH level will be changed. So the changed PH level cannot protect the sperm from the vaginal discharge. Thus, there is way for sperm to meet the egg.

Although infertility can be caused by prostatitis, prostatitis is easy to cure. As long as one can take Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill and follow the diet instruction strictly, the successful rate can be as higher as 90%. What’s more, the relapse rate is very low.
