Today,
Dr. Lee will tell us how does the prostatitis bring infertility to man.
1. Prostatic fluid a discharge from prostate gland
takes an important role on liquefaction of semen
fibrinolysis, an important material in prostatic fluid,
is the key of liquefaction. If one has infection on prostate gland, there is no
doubt that prostatic fluid is infected too, thus, the infected fibrinolysis
cannot make the semen liquefy in time.
2. Inflammatory or toxic materials will consume more oxygen
and nutrient
Infection or inflammation not only can bring toxic
materials to prostate gland, the toxic materials produced by infection or
inflammation also can consume the oxygen and nutrient in semen. Thus, sperm
will lack of activity or die because of lacking of oxygen and nutrient.
